For Impaired Professionals

Holy Land Rehab currently offers an entirely Inpatient model of addiction treatment, which is geared towards distinct groups of individuals who are too busy to take leave of absence from their daily obligations. We have a program for impaired professionals, such as CPAs, attorneys, physicians, licensed nurses, dentists, physical therapists, pharmacists, and young adults with work and school schedules.

Confidential Assessment and Evaluation

Each individual referred to S.U.R.E. Counseling at Holy Land Rehab is fully evaluated by a licensed or certified practitioner in a comfortable, confidential environment. Our assessment process involves a comprehensive evaluation:

  • Complete biopsychosocial assessment through a one-hour personal interview covering substance use history and other life aspects, including medical, employment, legal, family, spiritual, relationship issues, and special needs.
  • Addiction Severity
  • Nutrition Screen
  • Chronic Pain Screen
  • Urinalysis
  • Recommendations for treatment

If the individual was referred to S.U.R.E. Counseling by a community professional (and we have a valid release of information), our professional would contact the referral source after the evaluation to review the recommendation, obtain additional information as appropriate, and ensure continuity of care.

Individuals admitted to S.U.R.E. Counseling at Holy Land Rehab are asked to sign information releases for work site professionals (supervisors/EAPs/HR), family members, physicians, and/or other treating medical professionals. Our staff communicates meticulously with as many community professionals as indicated by the individual’s requirements.

Initial Rehabilitation Stage

After the assessment, patients will enter the comprehensive program’s Holy Land Rehab detoxification and rehabilitation portion. Initially, patients attend treatment five times each week, Monday through Friday, for a detoxification regimen followed by three hours of therapy and education. The frequency of these sessions is reduced as progress is made over a period of eight weeks, typically totaling 20 to 30 sessions by completion. This phase of treatment seamlessly leads to a support stage of treatment.

Support Stage

Upon completion of detox/rehab, patients will transition into the support phase of treatment. This stage consists of once-weekly 2-hour group therapy sessions led by licensed or certified clinicians. Patients in the S.U.R.E. Counseling Program at Holy Land Rehab will attend exclusive specialized support groups with other professionals. These groups will focus on the distinctive issues professionals must confront in their recovery.

S.U.R.E. Program for Young Adults

The Holy Land Rehab offers supplemental services to meet the needs of young adult patients who are not yet financially independent from their parents. For this group of patients:
